Born in Nelson County, VA in 1884, “Jinks” as she was known by her sisters served as the first president of Alpha Chapter. She presided over meetings with poise and assurance. It was her beautiful voice that often led the chapter in singing hymns and songs.

Notes of black cherry, blackberry and plum are complemented by hits of toasted oak, dried currant and baking spice. Fine-grained tannins and ample brightness on the palate give way to a polished mouthfeel and exceptionally long finish.
